Ross Appleton, Lead Pastor: As lead pastor of C3 Denton, I serve the church by leading in the areas of pastoral care, preaching and teaching, and overall vision.  I’m happily married to Heather, and we have 4 wonderful children: Sophia, Henry, Leona, and Maxwell.  I grew up in Denton where I (barely) graduated from Denton High School, then from UNT with a B.A. in History, and finally from Dallas Theological Seminary with an M.A. in Cross Cultural Studies.  I love learning and discussing theology and philosophy, reading and watching science fiction with my kids, and drinking Folgers coffee at all hours of the day with my wife.

Karen McCommas, Administrator: I serve the church by providing leadership in Vision. My responsibilities include community events, administration, membership, and planning. My husband, Cody, and I serve as Parish hosts. Originally from Houston, I relocated to Denton to attend University of North Texas. I enjoy spending time with my husband, hosting get-togethers, jazzercising, crafting, and the pulled pork nachos at Rooster’s.

Dustin Aguilar, Pastor of Counseling: Dustin serves his C3 family by offering biblical counseling, leading a parish group, leading redemption groups, and acting as Sunday Shepard. His responsibilities as Sunday Shepard include making sure visitors to C3's Sunday worship service are greeted and their prayer needs are taken care of. Dustin is a Masters student at U.N.T. and teaches ESL to international students. He loves hanging out with his wife, Tina, and enjoys the thrill of praying for strangers in Denton. His passion is to introduce people to the goodness of Jesus and helping new believers grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. 

Nathan Miller, Pastor of Worship Arts:

At Christ Community Church, I am in charge of music. I also teach English at Denton Calvary Academy, and I write and perform music.  As of November 12, 2011, I am married to Meghan.  She is a beautiful music teacher, and one of the godliest women I know.  She and I lead a parish group together. I was born in East Texas, and I moved to Denton to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Voice) and a Bachelor of Arts in English (Creative Writing) at UNT. I graduated Cum Laud and a Distinguished Honors Scholar. I love serving God, singing to Him, and being with Him.  I enjoy sports, especially snowboarding and basketball. I like old books and old movies.  

Molly Miller, Director of Children's Ministry:

I serve as the director of the C3 Kids Ministry by coordinating and training teachers and volunteers, choosing and writing curriculum and devotionals, and equipping parents. I have a bachelors from UNT in International Development and currently teach pre-school in Lantana. I love working with children of all ages and am very passionate about discipling kids in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and about helping their parents to pastor and disciple their kids in the home. In my spare time I love singing, dancing with my husband John Brandon and hanging out with my C3 Family!
